Eravikulam national park is 45 minutes from munnar.nilagiri thar has a great importance in eravikulam. mountain goats, rolling grasslands and sholas are the great significance in here.the visitors can only use forest department vehicle to see all this.no other private vehicles are allowed.this park is closed during earlier months of every year.
Due
to the significant variation in altitude and rainfall, it has a wide
array of habitat Types like deciduous forests, dry thorny forest,
riparian types, sholas and grasslands That are interspersed with plains,
hillocks, rocks and cliffs which provide Microhabitats for varied forms
of life. an extincted species reported from the chinnar Wildlife
sanctuary.i tis a repository in which we can found so many medicinal
Plants. The famous ‘white bison of Manjampatti’ has been recently
reported from Chinnar.
Rajamala
is 16 kms from munnar.here the best significance is
rajamalai-eravikulam wildlife sanctuary.it must be popular in india.
Mountains are beautiful scenery in here it covers with rolling
grasslands and shoals .The park is divided into three areas such
as : core area,buffer area and tourism area. Visitors are only allowedto
in the tourism area.trekking facilities are available here. In this
park we can see the exotic birds and animals such as elephant.malabar
civet, and python etc..
KOLUKKUMALAI TEA ESTATE
Mattupetty
dam is approximately 13 km from Munnar in Kerala. It is situated at an
altitude of 1700m above the sea level The dam is the perfect spot to see
hundred ranges of high yielding cattle nurtured.
Close to the Dam is a beautiful lake, which is a well known tourist spot
in the area. It offers boating facilities. mattupetti is highly famous
for the Indo-Swiss live stock projects.The tourists are permitted to see
three cattle sheds at the farm out of the eleven cattle sheds. The
Mattupetti dam as well as the lake is at close proximity from the farm
and is a very charming picnic spot.
Blossom International Park
By Road : Though a bit winding owing to the hilly area, the roads in this part of the country are well built. State transport buses ply regularly between Munnar and other neighbouring cities.
By Rail : Munnar being a hill city does not have a railway station, therefore, if travelling by train you will have to travel to any of the nearby railheads such as Kochi, Madurai or Kottayam and board a bus or hire a taxi from there to reach Munnar. to Top Station.Kundala is a very beautiful lake with splendid views of
rich forests. There are boats available for hiring. Hiring provides

Blossom International Park
The
Blossom International Park is located at 3 Km away from Munnar on the
way to Cochin. Commencing from Head works Dam it stretches about 15
acres. Beautiful gardens with rare varieties of plants and flowers,
shady trees, facilities for water cycling, boating cycling for kids,
roller skating etc are amusing. In addition Tree houses, ropeways and
swings are arranged. Anybody who wants to spend some leisure time at
the lap of serene natural beauty will find this park, the right place.

By Air : The nearest airport is located at Kochi, which is well connected to other Indian cities and a few international destinations. Other nearby airports are located at Madurai and Coimbatore.
